Export your ChatGPT memories

ChatGPT stores memories about your campaign across conversations. This prompt extracts all of them into a single document.

1. Open ChatGPT and start a new chat

2. Paste this prompt:

I'm moving to a new AI tool for my TTRPG worldbuilding. Please export everything you know about my campaign, world, and characters. Include: 1. **World Setting** — world name, genre, tone, geography, history, factions, religions, political systems, and any other world details you remember. 2. **Player Characters** — names, races, classes, levels, backstories, personality traits, relationships, goals, and any session-specific developments. 3. **NPCs** — names, roles, descriptions, motivations, relationships to PCs, and any plot relevance. 4. **Campaign History** — a chronological summary of major events, story arcs, quests completed, and ongoing plotlines. 5. **House Rules & Preferences** — any custom rules, homebrew content, preferred playstyle, tone preferences, or recurring themes. 6. **Session Notes** — any recent session details, cliffhangers, or unresolved threads. 7. **Items & Locations** — important magic items, shops, taverns, dungeons, and locations the party has visited or plans to visit. Format everything in clean markdown with headers. Be as thorough as possible — include everything you remember, even small details.

3. Save ChatGPT's response — you'll upload it as a lore document in LoreKeeper

2

Export your ChatGPT data

ChatGPT lets you download all your conversations as a single file. This takes a few minutes.

1. Go to ChatGPT Settings (click your profile icon)

2. Click Data Controls

3. Click Export Data then Confirm Export

4. Check your email for the download link (can take a few minutes)

5. Download the ZIP and extract conversations.json

The ZIP contains all your ChatGPT conversations. The file can be large (50MB+) — that's normal. The next step lets you pick just the D&D ones.

3

Pick your D&D conversations

Drop your conversations.json below. We'll parse it right in your browser — nothing gets uploaded anywhere. Search for your campaign chats and download them as markdown files.
